More Than a Market: Celebrating Culture & Connection at the Pacifika Pop-Up

Earlier this month, Faithfully Mine had the beautiful opportunity to be part of the Pacifika Women in Business Pop-Up, hosted by the Fijian Community Association Victoria (FCAV). These community-led events always hold a special place in my heart, especially when they’re Fijian-focused, because Fiji is home. And Faithfully Mine is deeply rooted in that culture, pride, and colour.

The day was filled with energy, connection, and creativity. It was a chance to meet other Pasifika women in business, hear stories of resilience and empowerment, and be surrounded by people who, like me, are proud to represent their islands here in Australia.

We set up our stall with love and intention, filled with:

  • Handwoven, colourful earrings inspired by island vibrance

  • Freshwater pearls and our Frangipani Collection, created especially for the event

  • Hypoallergenic stainless steel earrings for sensitive ears

  • Our signature layering necklaces, all waterproof and made to last 🌊

What made the day extra special was seeing aunties and uncles buying pieces for their nieces, nephews, sons, and daughters. Moments like that remind me that Faithfully Mine is more than jewellery, it’s identity, it’s memory, it’s community.

We were so happy to reconnect with familiar faces—like the amazing Monica behind Not Your Average Candy and the beautiful sisters at Lemon Kisses—and meet incredible new creatives like SOL Creations, who handcraft stunning frangipani hair lays 🌺.

To every person who visited our stall, supported with a purchase, or just came by to share a kind word, thank you. We see you. We appreciate you. And we wouldn’t be here without the love of our Pacifika community.

With love,
